For the past fifteen years, my work has continuously evolved, shifting from the fitness and exercise industry to helping people escape physical pain, to helping them attain fuller health. I am happy to say that my clients are thrilled to enjoy pain free and active lives.

The process of helping people through the – sometimes rocky – healing process led me to the understanding that there is a powerful relationship between healing the body and the emotional and mental aspects of healing.

It also helped me understand that getting out of pain is only the first step.

Why?

Because once you are not in pain anymore, you can start living. A healthy and vibrant life is more than simply not hurting.  And that is what fuels my day-to-day and year-to-year determination to do more in my business and in my life in order to help my clients.

In the video I shared how I allowed myself to be more vulnerable in order to show up in a bigger way for my clients.

Becoming pain-free, getting healthier and living more fully starts with you deciding to be more vulnerable too!

There is great strength in vulnerability because when you allow yourself to be vulnerable you are also willing to ask for help.

You never have to go at this alone. There is always a way. All you need to do is open yourself up to the possibility that it exists. And ask for help.

Celebration time!

Mitrea Wellness is 15 years old!

Sometimes I can hardly believe that it’s been that long… Other times it seems like it’s been a lot longer.

This 15 year journey has been extraordinary for me; not always easy, but always offering me the opportunity to grow, to evolve and create transformation within myself.

Today I am celebrating the fact that I did not give up when things got tough, like things do get sometimes.

And this is exactly what I have been teaching my clients at Mitrea Wellness: to not give up on their intention for greater health and a better life.

Do not give up! Even when it seems that despite all your efforts things are not getting better.

But, with the right mindset, the right support and accountability… things do get better!

That is where the breakthrough is! It’s just following a system that gives you all these things: mindset, support and accountability. The more you make use of these three things, the better things get in your body and in your life.

Think better, feel better and get better!

Love,

Rucsandra

If you are looking for ways to heal your body and live your life pain-free, with freedom and zest, do not give up! Maybe you’re not sure how to start thinking better in order to start getting better. Listening to the body

I spent the first part of my life in pain, and I want to share with you one of the things that helped me create transformation in myself. As a clumsy child with poor posture and hyper-extended knees I sprained my ankles multiple times and even sprained my knees.

These injuries left my ankles and knees unstable. My feet were in so much pain that I couldn’t walk barefoot. A great deal of damage was done to the cartilage in my knees. Finally, I had chronic tightness in my hips and lower back. I believe that these compounded effects were the cause of a herniated disc in my late 20s; that pain was more intense than any of my previous painful experiences had been.

Because of all this damage, I felt fragile: I was incapable of long walks, skating, skiing, or any other sports. My body suffered in weakness and resistance—and the rest of me lived the same way. I felt afraid of life. I felt inadequate and stuck.

So how did I manage to get from where I was then to where I am today in my body?

My body helped me understand that it was capable of great progress, but only if I was patient and respected a certain sequence of events. Later, I organized this sequence as the Physical Strategies of the Mitrea Pain Free System.

Healing my body did not happen overnight, but it did happen. My body showed me what I could accomplish safely right away – and what I had to wait to do.

I learned to listen to my body.

Initially, my efforts focused on my physical body and I felt stronger and healthier month after month, year after year.

But the greatest changes came when I connected with my emotions and learned to employ mental processes that reinforced the healing taking place on the physical plane. As this discovery was unfolding, I continued to study the mental, emotional, spiritual, and energetic aspects and began to create connections among them.

My journey from chronic discomfort, weakness and pain to enjoying life in a strong, flexible, and healthy body taught me that all of us are indeed capable of remarkable healing.

I’ve since dedicated my professional life to guiding others away from chronic pain and start living full and vibrant pain free lives. My mission is to teach others that their healing capacity resides in themselves, not in other people or in the outside world.

Do you know how to start listening to your body?

Love,

Rucsandra

Start with your MINDSET

The way the physical body works is the way nature works: leaning towards balance and equilibrium, healing and health.

Your physical body, mine, and everyoney else’s are all equipped with extraordinary healing capabilities.

And yet…

Every day, I see people struggling with various levels of discomfort and pain.

Even though they have the innate capacity to heal–like every single one of us– they cannot do so because they don’t think and feel in healing-conducive ways.

You see, the problem is the way we were taught to think about our bodies.

The capacity for healing resides not in other people or in the outside world, but within ourselves. But of course this is not what we were taught.

Epistemologist Gregory Bateson writes:

“The major problems in the world are the result of the difference between how nature works and the way people think.”

So, to paraphrase Bateson’s quote, the problem with your chronic pain is the result of the difference between how your body works and the way you think.

Solving the problem of pain means addressing not only the body, but also your thoughts about it and your attitudes towards it.

At Mitrea Wellness we start with teaching you the most important first step in the healing process—your mindset.

By starting with your mindset, your new way of thinking will continuously fuel your healing efforts, perpetuating and moving your healing process forward.

This new mindset reinforces every action you take, so the healing process picks up momentum and power and keeps you moving forward.

Mindset and Your Body

As this year is coming to an end, I am inviting you to ponder on your belief systems with respect to health and aging, because they have the power to either sustain your physical health or impede it.

These deeply embedded beliefs affect your general state of well-being, the way you feel day after day and the health of your body.

Do you believe that as you age your spine or hips deterioration is imminent?

Even though it is true that the force of gravity starts to affect your spine from the moment you stopped crawling and commenced biped walking, it is not true that you must end up with a hip replacement, knee replacement or a painful spinal condition such as degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, bulging discs or painful pressure on the nerves.

I believe that about 90% of the painful and limiting conditions that affect so many people are preventable with the use of intelligent forms of exercise and treatment that respect the laws of the body.

But there is one more ingredient to one’s general health and well-being.

There are people who move with ease and age with grace and who live their lives fully and vibrantly, without experiencing the effects of an aging spine.

What makes that possible?

Is it merely a lifetime of good eating habits, exercise and good genes?

Or is it what their beliefs have been and are about their health and aging process?

Some food for thought, don’t you think?

What are your beliefs about your body, your health, your aging process?

My 25 years of helping people move better and feel better have brought me to the conclusion that without the right mindset, the progress is slow or non-existent.

With the right mindset, the body can heal.
