The concept of the Body Awareness Classes emerged from the teachings Rucsandra Mitrea received over the last 12 years from Pilates Master Teacher Dianne Miller, Guy Voyer DO, as well as the exposure to the series of courses or seminars she attended over the years with Pilates Elders Mary Bowen and Ron Fletcher.  Teaching  the physical methodologies and techniques stemming from the different backgrounds of her teachers provided Rucsandra with a very unique insight into the abilities of the human body.  She refers to the human body as the “The Sacred Form” that is both one’s teacher and student and a wonderful vehicle for us to express who we are. At peace in a joyful and free body, our minds can create a better environment for ourselves and for humanity. Through a series of exercise sequences, breathing techniques and movement experiences you will become more attuned to your physical body and the power of your mind.
