The concept for this class stems from the principles of Myofascial Stretching. Combining the precision of MFS with deep breathing techniques and a gentler approach to stretching, this class will leave you feeling calmer and more relaxed, allowing in turn for your body to let go of tension.
The connective tissue, continuous throughout the entire body, is very sensitive to the levels of stress we experience and as a result becomes less flexible. Its intricate organization is responsible for a great percentage of misalignment and poor posture problems, as well as mental and emotional rigidity and fear. The same complex organization is also a powerful ally in correcting body posture and releasing discomfort and pain. At a deeper level, the connective tissue stores our emotions and our ability to process information is either helped or hindered by the emotional cleanliness at the cellular level.
